Change is Now Fitness promotes a comprehensive approach to health and fitness; one that includes the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of life. For many, involving the mental aspect makes sense, but spiritual? What is spiritual about exercise and what could possibly be the benefits? Have you ever had a moment when you realized afterwards that something more was available in an experience but because you lacked this awareness, it was not available to you...and you missed out? The purpose of the blogs, stories, or any communication on this site is to point to the possibility of "truth" that is greater than our traditional approach to health and exercise.
The mental process of judging the merits of multiple options and selecting one of them has great potential when used to create the experiences in life that we want. Since we all have to exercise our bodies and there is no way around this, we can choose to incorporate exercise in a way that yields the greatest benefit. Use this liberty, power, and freedom to make choices for yourself that create the life experiences that you want. What is embraced in an individual’s belief system is "expressed in the life accordingly." Think of yourself as goofy, clumsy, lacking coordination, and you will live into those thoughts and express your life accordingly. See yourself as your body only and you may miss a spiritual awakening that keeps your life in mediocrity. Great coaches help others see their own greater potential and move past the self defeating talk of: "I can't, it's too hard. I'm not good enough to do this. I don't believe..."
Once you consider the body without the presence of a life force, you realize it is just a vessel that is no longer in use. What about a life force without the presence of a body? That may step outside of one's understanding a bit and get into that which is really unkown. A building built to be used as a place of worship that no longer has members, is just a building that "looks" like a church. Water that flows downhill poses the power to devastate and cause fear, or to calm the mind and create peace. All and only because of the presence of gravity. Exercising the body without recognizing the available mental and spiritual benefits is like biblical fasting without the spiritual component; it is just another diet.
Consider that the benefits of exercise are much greater when the mind and spirit are directing the body and all of "you" is in the process. Consider how balance, fulfillment, and joy in your life can truly be manifested if you "verify" the truth that you live from. There is always more available than what we sometimes know exists. I invite you to seek and discover that which creates the life that you want. It is available and has been there all this time.
And, even more importantly...enjoy!
